It's just the right amount of warm fuzzies, teenage angst, and a bit of cheese. I couldn't relate much with the music genre and era, but I do remember my own the cassette tapes, hours-on-end phone conversations, the first holding hands et al, and box of mementos. This book was, in a sense, a walk down the memory lane for me. I was left worried about what happened with Eleanor's mom and siblings though. I'm also not really sure what to think about the ending, but that mostly had to do with the fact that I was expecting a heartbreaking ending (think Stargirl meets John Green novels. HA! :P).
